TINA SUGANDH is an American businessperson, songwriter, second generation professional singer, drummer, host, television personality, Founder and President of MomOnTopShop organic affordable clean vegan skin care line, and philanthropist who began her career as a child. Sugandh was born in Mumbai and moved with her family to New Jersey via Pennsylvania when she was five months old. Her sister, Seema Sugandh, sang and played a variety of instruments, her mother, (a Marketing Director, Economics Professor, and Singer on All India Radio Mumbai) Geeta Sugandh, sang on the radio and at different functions while her father, Senior Professor Kanaiya, was a master of ceremonies, singer, and comedian.
Throughout Sugandh's school years, while maintaining high honors in school, her family performed globally in 8 languages. She had her first interview on the radio at age 5 on the campus of Princeton University. [1]
At 15, Sugandh was encouraged by Sean Harris, a screenwriter and creative mentor. Harris eventually convinced Sugandh that she should pursue music as a career and, to that end, spent time working on a demo. Between her studies as a biology major at Rutgers University,[2] and weekend performances with her family, Sugandh worked with Harris, who arranged photoshoots and studio plans for her and encouraged her to write her own music.
She graduated in 3 years with high honors from Rutgers University with a BS in Biology before asking her father's permission to pursue music professionally. She was signed to Disney within the year.
Sean Sullivan and Jay Jay French (Twisted Sister, Sevendust) signed her to their new company, Rebellion Entertainment. They spent the next year developing her songs, travelling globally, and creating new demos. These demos lead to a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music, Hollywood Records, Disney, Z-TV India, and a Sony deal.[3]
After signing to Hollywood Records as a singer/songwriter/drummer and to Warner/Chappell Music, Sugandh began hosting the program Asian Variety Show on Saturday mornings.

In 2008, the song she wrote,sang and co-produced, remix of "Break Me" reached #4 on the Billboard Dance Chart.[4] "
That same year her dear mother passed away and so The Pink Runway was born. A philanthropic venture to help those wih cancer find a community.
She currently is President, Founder and CEO of MOMONTOPSHOP.com whose mission it is to bring affordable, clean, vegan skin care and wound healing to everyone.
In 2009, Sugandh collaborated with Ringo Starr on his album Y Not.[5]
In 2010, Sugandh released a single entitled "So Good", which features Fat Joe.

Her first solo album, TablaGirl, came out on May 12, 2009 was released by Hollywood Records, Disney. She wrote the lyrics, sang, and played many of the instruments on it. Her dear mother, father, sister, and nephew sing on the album as well.
This happily married, mom of three smarties is just getting started.
